Harajuku and around - Things to do and places to visit

Very famous for being a mecca of youth culture, Harajuku is a the main place for street fashion and the birst place of the KAWAII culture. If you are interested in more mainstream fashion places, you can walk down the streets of Omotesando and you will find many of big worldwide brands. If you want to do some other fun outdoor activities, you can walk only 5 minute from Harajuku Station and reach Yoyogi Park which is a great place also for picnics. Meiji Jingu Shrine

Meiji Shrine is located in the Shibuya district of Tokyo. A large number of visitors from all over Japan come for “hatsumode” or the first shrine visit of the New Year. On the day of your visit, you can catch a glimpse of a traditional wedding ceremony if you’re lucky.
