Then in the afternoon, enjoy the view of Kobe from Mt. Rokko before heading to Arima Onsen. Leisurely spend time in an ancient townscape and a famous onsen that is said to be the oldest in Japan.

Mt. Rokko is famous for its view of the city of Kobe, and off in the distance, the Osaka Plain and Wakayama Prefecture can be seen. Have lunch after reaching Rokko Sanjo Station. There are plenty of restaurants such as the Tenran Café and the Garden Terrace where you can enjoy the grand panorama of Mt. Rokko while you have your meal. After lunch, you can take a walk in places such as the Rokko International Musical Box Museum and the Rokko Alpine Botanical Museum.

Then visit the temples and shrines along with Kin-no-Yu where Arima Onsen originated. You can take the ropeway from Mt. Rokko to Arima Onsen near the Rokko Garden Terrace.
