About

Experience 5 big examples of the Digitreal

At Tokyo Joypolis, there are 5 large facilities to experience the Digitareal. First, at the DigitaReal Stage, there is an absolutely new live entertainment show. You will get a taste of something that you have never experienced before with dazzling performances including cutting-edge digital video and brilliant shows filled with presence. The second facility is the Trance Illusion. The projection mapping that is shown in the open space is an overwhelming time event show. The third place is an attraction where you can actually enjoy getting on a ride. A thrill ride with digital elements, you can experience something innovative and evolutionary. The popular thrill rides of the snowboard-motif Half-Pipe Canyon which you can ride while standing and the Spin Palette where you ski indoors have been upgraded. No longer just about speed, the rides have been changed so that the eyes can enjoy the experience as well. The fourth facility is Space Interaction. Everywhere inside the facility, there are screens which merge reality and CG. It’s a fascinating large space which mixes the digital and the real. And last but not least, at D-Lounge, you can enjoy light snacks and alcoholic drinks plus experience digital technology. It is a place where you can encounter the latest in hi-tech in a relaxed manner.

A game corner to be enjoyed by the whole family

There is also an arcade and a game corner where you can enjoy features such as Sonic Carnival which brings together easy games for the little kids, the purikura corner to get that souvenir photo, the UFO Catcher area where you can go for prizes such as stuffed dolls and candy, and Sonic Racing which you can only experience at Joypolis.

pretty dope
So I came here in 2013 with my cousin and it was a lot of fun. There is a fee to pay that allows you to play as many games as you want although overrated. The things that were worth it was this Initial D game that has a real Replica car from the series that you get into that has a giant screen in front . The car then moves when you turn the wheel when drifting giving you that feeling of actually being a real DK (drift king). There was this horror haunted house thing that was themed of the Japanese version of the movie the Ring. Let's just say the announcer guy who was explaining the story was on the floor laughing after I tried to make a break for it because stuff went down and I ran and tripped over a couple. We were the last ones in and the first ones out. Everyone seen why the stereotype of why black dudes run when they are scared. We had them all on the floor laughing.
