After arriving in front of Miyako Station at 9:55AM, take a taxi to Jodogahama Visitor Center. (the trip will take about 10 minutes at a cost of a little under 2000 yen) Start obtaining information at the Visitor Center which will introduce you to tourism in Jodogahama and various walking courses. You can also head directly to the boarding piers for excursion boats from the center.

Miyako Jodogahama Boat Cruise
A 40-minute cruise around the waters of Jodogahama. You can enjoy the scenic sight of the special Sanriku cliffs and unusually-shaped rocks that extend along the shore. At the adjacent Marine House, the Sappa Cruise by small boat (20 minutes) is also recommended. You can choose either one to tour the area.

Board the local bus bound for Miyako Station departing at 3:03PM in front of the Park Hotel Jodogahama and take it to Miyako Station. It will arrive there at 3:22PM. Take a look at the Miyako Fish Market which is located about 10 minutes away on foot from Miyako Station. Not just selling fresh fish, the market also sells candies, household dishes, meat and wine so that you can also enjoy some shopping and a light meal. *If you are late for the 4:35PM bus leaving Miyako Station, please note that the next bus will not depart until 5:05PM.
