The bright golden Konjiki-do Temple cannot be missed. The area also has plenty of places to eat so you can rest here as well.
A site associated with the military commander Yoshitsune Minamoto, famous as a tragic hero. Quietly verdant with plants and trees, the small hall has enshrined a wooden statue of Yoshitsune. The view of the Kitakami River below is beautiful.
The site of a former temple which emulated the appearance of Kyoto’s Phoenix Hall at Byodo-in Temple. Currently, there is nothing left of the temple with only a desolate green landscape in its stead.
