Head up Mt. Misen by ropeway. After boarding at Momijidani Station, transfer at Kayadani Station to head for Shishiiwa. Enjoy the superb view from the Shishiiwa Observatory. Homotsu-kan possesses numerous National Treasures and National Important Cultural Properties. Walk over to Daisho-in Temple which is the oldest temple on the island. There are many sites to see within its huge grounds including precious Buddhist statues and architecture. One recommendation is to select the sites that you want to see, taking into consideration the boarding time for the ferry going back to the mainland.
