For your touring convenience, the intra-city route buses Akabee and Haikara-san, which goes in the opposite direction, come and go from the station (operates every 30 minutes). Take the Akabee heading for Mt. Iimori at 9:45 and get off at the Iimoriyama-shita stop.
It’s a short walk to Sazae-do Temple as you go down Mt. Iimori. Experience this example of Edo Era architecture with the double-helix slopes that is unique in the world. Take the 11:50 Akabee bus to the Aizu Samurai
Head for the Aizu Samurai Residences, the outdoor museum which can only be found in Aizu, the town of samurai. Including the homes of the Aizu Domain, see the townscape of the warriors realistically restored. You can enjoy lunch at a restaurant which specializes in local cuisine.
