Afternoon Plan for Aizu

Visit the Japanese garden that was completed over generations of domain lords. Take a walk through the beautiful garden with a pond and seasonal landscapes. You can enjoy matcha tea or even an English tea time. Take the 3:00 Akabee for Tsuruga-jo Castle or walk over there in about 15 minutes.

The castle which is the pride of the Aizu citizens admired as “the impregnable castle”. Visit the renovated museum and take a walk through Tsuruga-jo Park, famous for its spring cherry blossoms.
