Along with an amusement park including a Ferris wheel, a mini roller coaster and a teacup ride and similar attractions inside the park for the kids, there are also many activities for grown-ups to enjoy such as a grass sled ground on a 60m slope, mini-golf and archery. At the popular children’s zoo, you can encounter miniature pigs, goats and sheep along with other animals.
Amazing illumination
The Tokyo German Park’s illumination which is held on nights every year from November to April at night has been recognized as one of the top three light shows in the Kanto region. The theme for the illumination changes from year to year so there are repeat visitors as well as first-timers to enjoy shows such as “Smile and Discover” and “Toy Box”. The show involves about the usage of 2.5 million LEDs and light bulbs throughout the large park to create incredible illumination. With the convenience of travel within the park by car and the fact that the park is open all year, there are also many popular annual events held to attract visitors including families and couples.
