Kintetsu Yoshino Station
Walk 3 minutes from Kintetsu Yoshino Station to the cable car stop Senbonguchi Station. You will reach Yoshino-san Station in about 3 minutes by cable car. Please note that operation conditions for buses and cable cars will change due to events such as cherry blossom season. Also note that buses will not operate from December to the end of February due to snow and that the cable cars will also not be operating on the weekdays during this period.

Kinpusen-ji Temple Zao-do Hall

Kinpusen-ji Temple Zao-do Hall
Zao-do Hall is a World Heritage site that has a stately majesty and is said to be the symbol of Mt. Yoshino. There is a visitor center nearby so you can collect any tourist information. In the vicinity, you can enjoy shopping at any of the shops. It’s also recommended to have the famous kakinohazushi (persimmon leaf sushi) for lunch.

Yoshimizu Shrine

Yoshimizu Shrine
Walk over to Yoshimizu Shrine, a World Heritage site where many legends of historical heroes have remained. Tour the main hall and the beautiful drawing room. The tour will last around 20 minutes. There are few restaurants beyond this area so if you want to have lunch, you will want to do so in the area around the shrine.
