Chikurinin is known for the historical temple and its lodgings. Gumpoen is one of the three great gardens of Yamato (Nara) and was originally designed by Sen no Rikyo, a master of the tea ceremony. It has since been renovated by Yusai Hosowaka. Take a stroll around the central pond while enjoying the scenery of the four seasons.
