Osu Shopping District

The Osu Shopping District has a long and successful history as the temple town for Osu Kannon. Bordered by Wakamiya Boulevard, Fushimi Street, Osu Street and Minami Otsu Street, the area contains approximately 1200 stores. Starting with inexpensive secondhand clothes shops and recycling stores, there are also restaurants specializing in Nagoya cuisine and dishes from all over the world. Also famous as one of the top three electronics districts in Japan along with Akihabara, in addition to its sales of electronic goods, it is also one of the venues for the annual World Cosplay Summit.
