Take the cable car leaving Tateyama Station and head for Bijodaira. During the 7-minute ride, enjoy the beautiful scenery at the foot of Mt. Tateyama.
＊The walk on the Alpine Route can be enjoyed easily but because of the 3000m highlands, it is recommended that clothing that can respond to changes in the weather and shoes appropriate for trekking be worn.
This is the highest station in Japan. After arriving at Murodo, go on a trekking tour. The 1-hour course around Mikurigaike Lake is recommended. At Murodo Terminal, there are restaurants and a rooftop observation area so it’s great to take a break here while admiring Mother Nature on Mt. Tateyama.
This is a lake located at the 2405m point which has been called “God’s Kitchen”. It is known within Tateyama tourism as the most famous scenery of the area. There is a trail going around Mikurigaike where you can enjoy a 1-hour trek. Following the walk, have lunch at Murodo.
