Located near the Awa Odori Kaikan, visit the temple standing in the middle of nature. The garden built to good advantage upon the side of the mountain is famous with the autumn being the most beautiful season.
This is a museum where you can see, hear and feel Awa Odori dancing, a traditional performing art of Tokushima that has a history of 400 years. Awa Odori is famous throughout Japan as a traditional event as all of the towns in the prefecture participate for four days between August 12th and 15th every year. At the Awa Odori Kaikan, you can experience the dance all throughout the year.
Board the ropeway from the 5th floor of the Awa Odori Kaikan and head for the peak of Mt. Bizan. From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy the grand panorama of sea, mountain and city.
