This is Japan’s first museum constructed to focus on the theme of the history and culture of living. On display are an Edo Era townscape recreated in full scale and modern Osaka based on models and documents. In the popular“KIMONO”experience, you can try on a kimono and take a photo with an Edo Era streetscape behind you.

Open: 10am~5pm Close: ① Tuesdays (If a holiday falls on a Tuesday, then the following day is closed) ② New Year’s holidays 12/29~1/2 *Besides the above, there are also special openings and closings

Adult: 600 YEN

University/high school students 300 yen Junior high school students and younger are free The“KIMONO” experience costs 500 yen *Registration begins at 10:00 and is restricted to the first 300 visitors. Participants must be 110cm or higher in height
