Following a fire, the public hall was reconstructed in 1910. Built in a colonial style with a distinctive bright blue-gray and yellow exterior, it has been nationally recognized as an Important Cultural Property for its high level of architectural technique and the quality of its interior as well as its exterior.

It's beautiful, but cold
it's an old building, and maybe you would like to look around a little bit. However, you might want to know that the building could be quite cold in the winter season. It's an old building, so there is no central heating available. The only source of warmth is the gas heater that they put in the main auditorium on the 1st floor.
