Definitely recommended! There are not many places in Tokyo where you can enjoy the view for free. This is one of the places where you can enjoy an incredible view of Tokyo.
I've been there many times. Best time is at night. You can enjoy amazing panorama night view of Tokyo. It's near from Shinjuku Station and you don't need entrance fee. If you stay in Tokyo, you can't miss!
Tokyo is an incredible expensive city, but this building will make it possible for you to get a view over this energetic city - for free.
During daytime Tokyo is just a big city, but at night it turns into a sea of lights and looks totally gorgeous.

If you want an amazing place to view Tokyo and all its busy beauty come here. You can't beat free neither. Gazing from the top floor you can really see how busy this place can really be. If you're on a budget like me then come here.
The Tokyo Government Building is a great alternative to the Skytree and Tokyo Tower, which are very expensive. You don't have to pay anything to get up there and the view at nighttime is just awesome.
Another advantage compared to the other two towers is that you don't have to wait really long and it's not that crowded.
I would really recommend that place, if you want to see Tokyo from the top.
Usually the word government brings conversations of boredom, but not in Japan! The Tokyo Government Building is amazing. It offers views of Tokyo for free, from a great height, and a full 360 degree panoramic view. If I was to recommended a sightseeing spot to my friends visiting Japan for the first time, this would be the one. On a clear day, Mount Fuji can be seen on the horizon, and there is also a wicked gift shop too. The tourist information office in the building also has lots of information about Tokyo, including free guides, maps, and discount vouchers.
