Like all Japanese temples, it was very beautiful and impressive, there is like a route you follow and see different types of garden and statues. We also saw the impact of the big earthquake so the temple's entrance was in renovation when we visited.
We visited in early Fall, shortly before the leaves started changing colors. It was stunning.
There is a flower garden, some carvings, a bamboo forest, a zen garden, and a couple small temple buildings.
I personally like this temple than any temples in Kyoto. I have been to Kyoto so many times, but nothing amazed me as much as this temple. (Of course, Kyoto has great so many temples too!)
The sophisticated atmosphere, zen garden, beautifully trimmed moss are breathtaking!!
I was truly amazed at beautiful nature.
I want to visit here all the four seasons...
