The Tale of Genji Museum is a place where you can experience the world view of the masterpiece of ancient literature, “The Tale of Genji” which was written in the Heian Era at the beginning of the 11th century. In the Exhibition Zone, an introduction to the tale is presented through exhibits such as Hi-vision video, and also you can see equipment from that time, along with the recreation of clothing and ox carts. You will be able to easily learn about “The Tale of Genji” through the illustration of the lives of the refined Heian nobility.
