An ancient and silent temple with a beautiful pagoda rising on the side of a small mountain

View Gallery
Jojakko-ji Temple was built on Mt. Ogura between 1596 and 1614. Without any walls for the temple, it has been constructed so that it seems to melt into the mountain environment. The pagoda rises to a height of 12m so that visitors can get a panoramic view of the Sagano area.
