Top Things to do and places to visit in Gion and around

Gion a famous district in Kyoto as it became this famous for its many geisha and has become a famous sightseeing spot in Kyoto. Tourists come here walking along the street, stopping by to have some green tea at small tea houses, eat some authentic sweets at sweets shops or have a lovely classic dinner at restaurants. Gion is also very close to Kiyomizu-dera, one of the most famous World Heritage Site in Kyoto.
