View Kutani ware, the vivid porcelain that was first created in the latter half of the 17th century. Along with the precious and ancient examples of Kutani, you can also see contemporary articles of rare beauty. Take a breather in the museum tea room and you can also shop for Kutani ware at the museum shop.
Located near Kutaniyaki Art Museum, this is an area which consists of 7 temples and 1 shrine. Walk by the quiet Jitsusho-in Temple, the vividly colorful statues of the 500 arhats and the famous Daisho-ji Temple. After exploring the area, walk over to JR Daishoji Station. Board the JR Hokuriku Main Line bound for Kanazawa and return to JR Kaga Onsen Station.
This house is located in Yamashiro which is known as an onsen town. The calligrapher and potter Rosanjin who began his pottery career in this town lived in this famous house. Enjoy a stroll in the area and a lunch break.
