Cute little wooden temple on a small island in Matsushima. There are some neat, short red bridges that lead to the temple too.
It doesn't take much time to visit, so if you're in Matsushima make sure to swing by!

Godaido has great view and its charming personality. The bridges can be scary but fun to walk with. I also liked its location a lot (5min of walk from the ferry port) If you don't have much time / not such fan of walking, this is the place you must visit in Matsushima!
