While visiting Fukushima, here are the 6 best hot springs to visit. Takayu and Higashiyama are traditional hot springs that have been around for hundreds of years. But Spa Resort Hawaiians is a popular and modern hot spring theme park. If you have children, this is a place they can enjoy too.

Iizaka Hot Springs

This is said to be one of the 3 best hot springs in the Oshu region along with Naruko Onsen and Akiu Onsen. It had a long history and even one of the greatest most famous Haiku poets, Matsuo Basho, visited this hot springs.

Dake Hot Springs

This is a hot springs village located on a plateau at the base of Mount Adatara. Selected as "No. 1 Natural Environment in Japan”, the air and water of Dake Onsen are pure and refreshing. It was also awarded as " an excellent travel destination” by the Japan Travel and Tourism Association.
