Shinjuku Kabukicho

East Asia’s biggest entertainment quarter. An area which embodies Tokyo as the city that never sleeps

View Gallery
Kabukicho is located on the east side of JR Shinjuku Station and is an area that squeezes in restaurants, movie theaters and other amusement facilities. At night, the area lights up with the gaudy neon signs for cabarets and host clubs and is filled with the atmosphere of an entertainment quarter. Its scale makes it the largest in East Asia and because the neon doesn’t go out until morning, it has come to be called the city that never sleeps. It is also an area where crimes occur so please be careful when walking there and be aware when choosing a place to enter. *Please check the official website for any warnings about walking in the area.

lively!
This place is so lively. The tall buildings, bright lights, various different stores and restaurants, and the crowds make this place so refreshing.
