The 1st floor with its newly-introduced digital devices

The popular Epson Aqua Park Shinagawa whose popularity is growing as an urban aquarium in the middle of the metropolis was fully renovated in July 2015. It has been reborn as an interactive theme park with facilities that you can see and feel. What is especially of interest is the Magical Ground area with the world’s first water tank equipped with a touchpanel. Operating the touchpanel at the front of the tank, the fish and the display on the panel overlap to create fascinating images. Children and adults can encounter the creatures of the deep while touching the tank with octopi and reef fish. Also, the wondrous Jellyfish Ramble is very popular for the sight of gently rippling jellyfish within the collaboration of light and sound. It’s also suggested as a dating spot with its mysterious atmosphere.

Displays of various animals and a dolphin performance to be enjoyed on the 2nd floor

On the 2nd floor, there are facilities such as Little Paradise with its 9 tanks whose themes will change depending on the year, and the Wonder Tube, a romantic tunnel water tank where natural light comes in from the skylight. Mantas and other rays swim leisurely here. There are also areas such as the Life Museum whose transparent specimens are like works of art and the Aqua Jungle with its iguanas and pirarucu fish to pique your curiosity. The popular penguins, seals and otters can be found on Wild Street. A special highlight is the Stadium which has been renovated and further advanced with its dolphin shows where the dolphins give dynamic performances in the midst of a water curtain, light and sound.
