After returning to Naruko Onsen Station, make your way to the 1000-year-old Onsen Shrine which is located on a plateau after a climb up some stone steps next to Taki-no-Yu.
Around the station, there is a variety of ryokan and facilities where you can enjoy a day-trip hot spring, and along with the public bath Taki-no-Yu next to Onsen Shrine, you can also make use of accommodation facilities including ryokan (Japanese inns). Soak in the high-quality waters of Naruko and ease away the fatigue from trekking. If you have some time before taking the train back, then take a walk around the area. Enjoy some shopping at some of the venerable kokeshi shops.
