Korogaki is a special product of the town of Shika in Ishikawa Prefecture on the Noto Peninsula. These dried persimmons using the Shika brand of Saishou persimmons are known for their distinct flavor and mild sweetness. Available around December, they are very popular as New Year’s gifts.
