Everybody has heard about the famous cat cafes in Japan, but thanks to the popularity of cat cafes there has started to pop up all kinds of different animal café’s in Japan. One very interesting and a bit more unique is the bird café’s in which you can find birds from canaries to hawks. From these the most famous maybe being the owl coffee, after all who doesn’t want to pet an owl specially after you have seen few of those cute owl videos from youtube. Though as said there are all kinds of animal cafes in Japan, but with this article we are going to concentrate on the different bird cafes you can find form Tokyo.
Few things you should also take in consideration if you want to go to one of the cafes:
Some of the places do not allow young children in to them.
You need to remember birds are animals and do not really go to any specific place to poop so you better wear something that does not matter much if it gets dirty, just in case.
Specially owls are birds of prey so their claws are sharp.
Most of the Cafes only accept cash so be prepared for that.
Some of the places do not serve food or drinks.
