Buddhist Monuments in the Hōryū-ji Area

These are part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Japan These are two Temples that are one of the oldest wooden buildings that are still standing. The buildings at the Temple have been lucky to survive mostly with out having to bee rebuild, unlike some of the other Temples that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Japan. The two temples that are part of the Buddhist Monuments in the Hōryū-ji Area.
