Shiraebi shrimp has been called “a jewel” for its translucent pale pink color. It is a precious species of shrimp that can only be harvested in Toyama Bay, and it is only in Toyama Prefecture where you can have fresh shiraebi sashimi or deep-fried shiraebi.
