Although it took Nobunaga Oda 3 years to complete Azuchi Castle in 1576, all that remains now are the stone walls for this Special Historic Site

Azuchi Castle had Japan’s first genuine keep, but following the Honno-ji Incident where Nobunaga Oda fell, the castle was burned down only leaving the stone walls with the surviving cornerstones and moat serving as relics from an ancient time.
