As the expression “Good sake can be made where good cedars grow” goes, high-grade jizake (local sake) is famous in Nikko which is also famous for its cedar trees. At the famous Katayama Brewery and the Sahei Watanabe Shop, you can take part in a tour of the brewery and sake tasting.
