View Gallery
The castle town of Obi consists of houses belonging to retainers of all ranks and merchant houses close to the castle, with the samurai residence street to the east of the Ote-mon gate being preserved in its original state. On Ote-mon Street which leads to the castle, there is a canal with swimming koi carp and the Yoshokan, the manor where the Ito clan of the Obi family moved to after leaving Obi Castle. The Yoshokan is open to the public and from there, you can view the residences and garden.
