A 532.4m-high mountain that rises to the east of Otaru, the view from the observation deck is highly popular as the city No. 1 viewpoint. At night, it’s been dubbed one of Hokkaido’s three great night views and has even been given one star in the Michelin Guide. From December, it is alive with winter sports.
