Encounter the lifestyle of Middle Ages European nobility
Marble Village Lockheart Castle is a stone theme park which is basically midway between Ikaho Onsen and Minakami Onsen. Within its grand 100,000㎡ grounds, you will find a stone church, a gallery, shops, restaurants and museums as a townscape from Middle Ages Europe is reproduced. Used as a location by as many as 60 movie and TV productions per year, you will get that feeling of a very extraordinary world within this town. The main feature of Lockheart Castle was built in Scotland in 1829 but transported and restored in Japan in 1993. Along with its exterior, the interior and furnishings have also been faithfully reproduced so that you can get a sense of the lifestyle of the nobility.
