Weird places to see in Kyoto

My friends and I are looking for weird things to do or see in Kyoto. We’re not really into the traditional sightseeing stuff, and want to see something off the beaten path. Maybe something that doesn't involve temples, as we’ll already be seeing a lot of those on a tour we booked. Thanks for your help!
