Kitano-cho truly has a very european vibe that exudes Kobe style. It is also a great place to pick up some souvenirs as there are many shops selling specialty kobe sweets. Don't miss checking out the famous Starbucks located in a historic building. On the weekend there is often street performers so I definitely recommend visititing on the weekend.
