Acceso

Tokyo Tower is just a 10 minute walk from Hamamatsucho Station. Take the North Exit from Hamamatsucho Station, and as soon as you exit, you will see Tokyo Tower in front of you. Walk straight toward the tower for about five minutes, and you will see the entance to Zojo-ji Temple. Enter the temple grounds continuing straight, walking around the temple, and after a further five minutes, you will exit the temple grounds and arrive at Tokyo Tower.

From Tokyo Station to Hamamatsucho Station:
Take the Yamanote Line direct to Hamamatsucho Station (6 minutes, ¥160)

From Shinjuku Station to Hamamatsucho Station:
Take the Yamanote Line direct to Hamamatsucho Station (27 minutes, ¥200)

“Landmark of Tokyo”

Tokyo tower is an icon of Tokyo. Now Tokyo skytree is taller, but I prefer Tokyo Tower and it is also so tall. It's difficult to get the whole body in the frame! Illuminated tower at night is so romantic and beautiful. I recommend going there at night.

“Incredible view of an immense city”

Here is definitely the landmark of Tokyo. Highly recommend to arrive observatory before sunset and wait until the night so you can see the beautiful lights all over Tokyo. Also, you can stop by Shiba Park or Zojoji next to Tokyo Tower. Here are the best photo-taking spot!

“Where the magic happens!”

Tokyo Tower is a very magical place to me! The tower's architecture is just very charming and romantic and the night view is just breath taking! Its great for a romantic date, and during summer you can see fireworks from the distance, making it even more especial!

“What would be a trip to Tokyo without visiting Tokyo Tower”

This place was on my "I-need-to-visit-this-place" list for quiet a while and I don't regret visiting it at all. It's such a typical sign of Tokyo, that I had to visit it one day in my life. You have a nice view around the city and can even show how brave you are while standing on a window. Looking down to the city. Visit Tokyo Tower just before sun sets! Like this I could enjoy the beauty of Tokyo during day, all colored in red and in the end during its most beautiful time: night

“Skytree is better, but this place isn't bad”

I'm just going to come right out with it. Skytree is waaaay better/nicer. Though more expensive. But you get what you pay for. Tokyo tower is slightly cheaper. So if you consider yourself a "thrifty traveler" then Tokyo tower is right up your alley. It's also bigger than the Eiffel Tower, take that France! muahaha. If you just want a pretty sweet view of Tokyo without having to drag yourself over to Sumida ward (East-side Tokyo) than Tokyo Tower will do just fine. Sometimes has performing Monkeys around the base of the tower. Though they are kind of sad to watch.

“Great sightseeing and entertainment spot”

The Tokyo Tower is especially good for making pictures of the Roppongi district, which has lots of high and impressive buildings. At night the Tower is shining in yellow, so it's also quite nice to see the Tower from outside and standing directly in front of it. If you are a Anime-fan of the show "One Piece" you should also visit the lower floors, because there are One Piece fan shops, games, and a live show, which takes place every day.
