“A stunning piece of architecture in the sky”
My visit to Tokyo Skytree was on a cloudy day. This, of course, completely my fault and my choice. I was somewhat disappointed to find that the entrance fee remained the same, despite the weather. The only upside though was that there was absolutely no queueing, and I got to enjoy cloud obstructed views all to my self.
The area around Tokyo Skytree features a village of restaurants and stores, a great distraction after looking at Tokyo from the tallest tower in the world.
In winter, illuminations make Skytree a delight to look at, and, I doubt I will ever get bored of looking up in awe at the tower as it looms over the skyline.
