About

A fun amusement park for speed fans and families

Toshimaen has plenty of fun attractions for those who love the rides such as the Corkscrew roller coaster, the thrilling Flying Pirates, the restaurant-top Wave Swinger which flies you to unimaginable heights, and the Eagle which rotates you to a height of 35m into the air. The park is filled with rides to spin, lift and race you where you can get the real thrill of an amusement park. On the other hand, Toshimaen also offers many attractions for the little kids. For instance, for those children in elementary and junior high school who may not be ready for the thrills just yet, there is a miniature version of the Flying Pirates known as Pirates, Mini-Cyclone which is a smaller version of the super-popular Cyclone and other calmer attractions. Also for the kids, the Sky Train which slowly runs through a forest, and the Miniature Train which resembles the trains that ran during America’s pioneering days are also recommended. As well, the family-friendly Carousel El Dorado has a history of touring all over Europe before settling in Toshimaen in 1971. Built by a German craftsman, the beautiful attention to detail is something not to be missed. But there are other fun places for the family as well. With a food court, game center, an animal corner to meet animals like dogs and guinea pigs, an insect house, indoor fishing pool, and other facilities, this is an amusement park which you can enjoy for the entire day without getting bored.

The summer pool is a huge hit

Toshimaen had the world’s first river pool in 1965. As well, the popular water park has other facilities such as a wave pool, a children’s pool where even toddlers can swim, and the water-sliding Hydropolis to drive away the summer heat.
