About

A natural hot spring rising from underneath Tokyo Dome City

Spa LaQua is located right beside Tokyo Dome. The spa, which is situated in the middle of a multi-purpose complex including a shopping center, is a place of healing where you can enjoy a natural onsen in the middle of the metropolis. The operating hours extend right to 9am the next morning, so it has the special feature of being able to enjoy the onsen on the way home from work. The Spa Zone is where you can luxuriate in the high-quality waters which are amply used from the natural hot spring located 1,700 meters underneath Tokyo Dome City. Starting with the open-air bath where you can feel the warmth of the wood, the spa is also equipped with indoor baths such as a Jacuzzi and a foot bath to warm you up to your core and a variety of sauna baths including a salt sauna and a mist sauna. Also, a loyly bath is provided in which water infused with aroma oil is sprinkled onto the sauna stove which then gives off an enveloping steam with a wonderful scent. And there is a strong sodium chloride hot spring in which you can melt away the fatigues of the day and is effective on stiff shoulders and chills.

Low-temperature saunas and a relaxation zone to leisurely spend your time

At the Healing Baden area, healing from all over the globe is available. There is a variety of low-temperature saunas, the low-temp Loess Chamber where you can make use of the infra-red radiation emitted from loess sediment, the Saiki Chamber where you can partake in color therapy via the walls, the Togen Shrine with its image of an underground cavern where you can detox with the effects of the germanium, the Benisei Cave using pine ore and the Seikuu Cave relaxation area with a star-filled sky on the ceiling just like a planetarium. There is also a cooling-down rest area as well as an open relaxation space looking out on the scenery of Tokyo Dome City. This becomes a women-only temporary sleeping area from 11:30 pm but until then both men and women can use the space. Along with beauty and treatment clinics, there are also restaurants available.
