Kusatsu is the perfect place for a romantic or a fun overnight trip with friends. Here are my recommendations of a selection of hotels in Kusatsu.

Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Village
If you still feel like you haven't been to enough onsen (hot springs) yet, then come to the Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Village. This hotel offers both indoor and outdoor onsen, 4 swimming pools, saunas and a variety of activities. There are bowling and karaoke facilities as well to enjoy. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the Kusatsu Kokusai Ski Resort.

There is a 24 hour front desk reception, souvenir shop and massage therapists. Hotel Ichii also has a free of charge pendle service, luggage and ski storage. Right outside one can find the famous Yubatake warm water source.

Kusatsu Onsen Futabaya
A very modern and clean look hotel, that comes with modern equipped rooms and at 24 front desk reception. This hotel offers 1 paid public bath and 3 free to use facilities. The Yubatake is only 100 metres away and Kusatsu onsen about 400 metres.

Kane Midori
Kane Midori is a ryokan, a traditional Japanese hotel. A good place to experience real Japanese hospitality and luxury. In Kane Midori guests can choose to sleep in room with tatami floors and Shoji screens. This ryokan services include massages and has its own hot springs. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from Yutabake
