Aomori & Hirosaki in January

Hi,

I am going to Aomori in January for 2 days. I know that Aomori is famous for the seafood. I am looking for

  • a restaurant in Aomori that serve Jappa-jiru
  • how to get on/buy ticket for the Stove train at Tsugaru
  • how to buy nokke don rice bowl at Aomori Gyosai Center. i read somewhere that it requires a coupon book or something?
  • any interesting place in Hirosaki other than the castle?

For the Stove train, you just go to the station that the train starts from and buy your ticket there. You can’t make any reservations. You’ll probably be getting on from Tsugaru Goshogawara station. 

For the Nokke don, you go to Aomori gyosai center’s information desk and buy the coupon book. Then you go around buying whatever you want to put on your rice bowl with the coupons. http://nokkedon.jp/nokkedon/?no=2

May I know for the Nokke Don, is all the toppings are raw, or are there any tempura-style seafood as well?
