Takuboku Shinkon House

The residence where early 20th-century poet Takuboku Ishikawa lived with his newlywed wife

An old house where Takuboku spent his newlywed days in Morioka which was depicted in his essay, “My Four-and-a-Half Mat Room”. Currently it is a free museum which exhibits valuable documents and photographs of the poet.
